24 - 25 Oct 2023 ( CONFERENCE )

WELCOME TO THE 37TH APOSHO ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING & CONFERENCE

Message from Mr. Ahmad Fakhrul Anuar bin Ismail, President of Malaysian Society for Occupational Safety and Health
Malaysia is very proud to host the APOSHO Conference in 2023.
The event will provide a platform for Occupational Safety and Health practitioners to meet, discuss and get updated on latest developments in the field and foster new relationships.
Workplace health and safety management continues to evolve.
Our efforts to improve the workplace health and safety environment have yielded results in some areas, but much work remains to be done.
There are emerging challenges that need to be addressed, as well as adoption of new technologies in managing workplace health and safety.
We hope to discuss these new challenges and offer a platform for members to share their experience in meeting these challenges.
MSOSH will collaborate with other government and non-governmental organisations to organise the programme, so that we can ensure that we bring together a diverse range of stakeholders at the conference.
We expect representatives from all APOSHO country members to attend the event and are keen to include other stakeholders such as academia and industry.
This will enable us to expand the conversation and hear different perspectives, so that we have a better understanding of the key issues and the opportunities available for managing them.
We are also working to put together an exhibition of key technologies, so as to include participation from industries, so that we can also add their perspective to our discussions.
I hope to see you at the conference.

Message from APOSHO Secretary General, Mr Bernie Doyle
